A Guide Through Ethics: Meeting Your Professional Requirements

Sunday, 22 September
Training Course

Disciplines: Management

Instructor: Jim Gouveia

SPE professionals are to exhibit the highest standards of competency, honesty, integrity, and impartiality. It is our duty as professional engineers to act “ethically” in all our dealings with co-workers, governments, competitors, contractors and the general public.

Ethics relate to the study of standards of right and wrong, and those voluntary actions taken by an individual with sufficient knowledge of the options available to him or her. This workshop will review the SPE “Guide for Professional Conduct,” and is intended to meet the requirements of many professional societies and regulatory bodies for ethics training.
