Flow Assurance & Risk Mitigation

Wednesday, 25 September
Room 212 - 213
Technical Session

This session showcases innovative flow assurance solutions covering from advances in fundamentals, technology demonstration and the use of digitalization in optimizing system design and operational risks mitigation. The topics include new insights on fluid flow and system behaviors for optimizing offshore startup operations, restarting of gas-lifted wells and resolving global flow assurance challenges; the use of AICD to help increasing recovery and lowering CO2 intensity; the application of the technology in collecting and analyzing real-time big data  to enable monitoring thousands of wells and more efficient decision making ensuring safe and optimum system operations and planning; and deploying data analysis and machine learning tools  for optimization of well intervention efficiency and hydrate plugging risk prediction.
