Beau Bromley leads the integration of AI and agentic systems into drilling and completions operations at Devon Energy, connecting frontier models to Devon's real-time operational data, proprietary engineering workflows, and field expertise. His team builds AI agents and in-house engineering applications that translate Gen AI capability into trusted, auditable decisions — both at the wellsite and across the technical organization.

Beau joined Devon in 2013 and has held progressively responsible roles spanning field operations, drilling engineering, and technical leadership. As Drilling Engineering Supervisor from 2021–2026, he oversaw drilling operations across the Delaware Basin, Eagle Ford, Mid-Continent, Powder River, and Williston basins. During that time he developed an AI database query agent now used across Devon, built in-house engineering models integrated with real-time data, led Devon's drilling and completions market intelligence team, and oversaw the revision of the company's casing and tubing design manual. Beau holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Oklahoma.
